Vanbiesbrouck appeared in two Stanley Cups- was inducted into the United States Hockey Hall of Fame in 2007- and holds a number of NHL records- including: most victories as an American-born goaltender (374)- most shutouts as an American-born goaltender (40)- and most assists as an American-born goaltender (35).
